Mrs. Naylor named FFA National Teacher Ambassador

We recently received this email recognizing the contributions that Mrs. Naylor makes to the program. Additionally, we are excited about the benefits and opportunities that our students get from her participation.

Good afternoon,

The purpose of this communiqué is to inform you that Kasey Naylor is currently serving as a National Teacher Ambassador for FFA for the 2021-2022 school year. The term of service is from June 2021 to June 2022. We have enjoyed working with Kasey this past summer and look forward to working with her throughout the school year.

Some of the responsibilities of a National Teacher Ambassador for FFA include presenting at local, regional, and state teacher conferences and being an overall representative of the National FFA Organization. Additionally, the program allows teachers to network and connect with agriculture teachers across the country. Last year, teacher ambassadors presented at least 131 workshops that included at least 3,500 attendees. The National FFA Organization relies on the ambassadors to provide valuable feedback and information so that our organization remains relevant to almost 9,000 FFA chapters and over 735,000 student members.

While the program is a national initiative, teachers can take the skills they have learned through this program and apply them directly to their classrooms and students, which, in turn, benefits your school and community.

Mrs. Naylor goes above and beyond for the students at SRISD. We are proud to have her as part of our Rebel family!
