SRISD's Plan for Use of ARP ESSER Funds

AFTER INPUT FROM STAKEHOLDERS SAM RAYBURN ISD WILL BE ADDRESSING THE FOLLOWING NEEDS.

Social Emotional Help      LEARNING RECOVERY   Communication     Equity, Engagement, Remote Learning

  1. Social-emotional curriculum to be used with our students.
  2. Learning Recovery
  3. Learning Acceleration
  4. Hardware and Software Issues, 
  5. More staff to address needs of reading and math interventions
  6. After school, and summer school programs
  7. Family Engagement with more communication
  8. Needed instructional materials

The American Rescue Plan (ARP) Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER III) provides over $12,000,000,000 to the State of Texas for public education, including over $11,000,000,000 directly to Local Education Agencies. Bells ISD is expecting to receive $499,147.00 in the first allocation of ESSER III funds and $249,573.00  in the remaining allocation.

Seeking input from diverse stakeholders across the state is essential to developing plans for the use of approximately $1,000,000,000 in ARP ESSER III state-level discretionary funds that are responsive to the needs of students, families, and educators.
