Texas Health and Human Services is partnering with the Texas Department of Agriculture and the Texas Education Agency to provide summer 2021 Pandemic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) benefits to eligible children. This program is for families with children (K-12) who are certfied for free or reduced-price meals through the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). It is a one-time benefit of $375 for each eligible child. All students are receiving free meals at school this year, however, that does not automatically make them eligible for this P-EBT benefit.

Two options to apply:

If you did not receive any school year P-EBT benefits for the 2020-2021 school year, the deadline to apply online is September 13th. Click here to access the link to apply,

OR

If you have already completed the form and returmed it for the 2021 school year, you do not have to complete another form. You must be eligible for free and reduced-priced meals through the NSLP to eligible.
